Lots of Charters, Lots of Fish

Hey, there, sorry I have been so behind in my blog, but I have been really busy with 1-2 trips a day as July is turning out to be a great month.  The water has been really calm and we have been able to go out to the deeper water. Last Wed on a trip with my good friend Bobby  (who comes all the way from Wichita Falls to fish with me every summer) we caught limits of kingfish and a 50 lb. shark which is pictured in the last post.  This same day by son (Capt. Brad) also brought in a 100 lb. shark.

Wednesday we went off shore with Capt. Ed Zielinski, Zac Zielinski, Todd, Bobby, and Capt. Ron Matson.  We caught red snapper, kingfish, barracuda, rainbow runner, and quick-released a couple of huge sharks.  We were 70 miles offshore fishing for billfish, but couldn't get any to bite, but were quite happy with our catch anyway.

Sunday I took a family from New Braunfels out for the first time and we had a great time.  They caught kingfish, trout, cooler full of large gafftop.

Last night, (Monday) I took out a group  for an evening trip. The fishing is beggining to get a little slow because of the tropical storm coming in.  We saw some tarpon, caught a small shark, a ling, speckled trout.  They all had a great time. We watched dolphins up close as their 3 and 7 year old sons really enjoyed this. They both caught fish and one caught his first shark.  Yesterday, Capt Brad on his trip caught 5 kingfish and one 37 lb. ling.
