Slow fishing

Right now it is hard to catch fish the water temp is returning to 55 deg. yesterday.Tried to run about 15 miles from Port A to some state water rigs and the red snapper were there but not biting.I was not on a paid trip just trying out some places to see if fish were present. The water is starting to clear from the recent heavy rains ,so this should start to pickup in a few weeks. I have not seen or heard of anything biting since Christmas except a few sheep's head. I fished in the bays a little with dead shrimp and Berkly gulp ,only caught a few spotted trout undersized witting ,perch sand trout and a few hard heads.
There is no live shrimp anywhere that Brad or I have found.Perch and if you are really lucky you might get some mud minnows for live bait right now.
The water clarity is getting better since the rain ,and the black drum should be showing up in big numbers soon.
